LAST year's top striker Jack Steed is well on his way to repeating the feat this time around.
He took this season's tally to 31 with a hat-trick inside the opening seven minutes of Swindon Rangers A's under 10 North match at Shaw B.
Shaw pulled one back, but a Cameron Shaw strike made it 4-1 at the break. A Jake Evans double in the second half gave Rangers a comfortable victory.
Blunsdon Colts came out on top 2-1 against Lydiard A in a hard fought game. Olly Hunt got Blunsdon's first and the winner came from a Macauley Dodson header.
Under 18 There was a classic top-of-the-table clash at Wroughton when they hosted Wootton Bassett A.
The visitors looked the liveliest early on and went in front thanks to top scorer Phil Tearle, with a fine strike to the bottom corner.
Wroughton pulled themselves back into it early in the second period when Matt Purse headed powerfully into the Bassett net.
The first half between Ferndale and Shrivenham saw four goals shared early on and Ferndale went into the break 4-3 up.
They dominated the second half to run out 9-3 winners. Their goals came from Chris Avery(4), Lee Gratton (4) and Richard Sheppard.
Under 16 Division 2 Stratton Juniors B took on a strong Wootton Bassett team, and a Mike Page goal gave Stratton all three points.
Under 15 Division 1 Ferndale maintained their per cent record with an 8-1 away win over Fairford.
Josh Parsons opened the scoring, with further first-half goals coming from Stevie Hill, Aarujeet Kharaud and a single reply from Fairford.
In the second period, Parsons secured his hat-trick, Stevie Hill his brace, and one apiece for Ashley Chequer and Jordon O'Reilly completed the scoring.
Matty Beauchamp opened the scoring for Liden at Wroughton with a left foot strike.
Lawrie Smith made it two with a tap-in from a corner, then bagged another with a deflected shot.
Wroughton pulled back to 3-1 only for Shallom Nkwocha to drill home to make it 4-1 for Liden.
Smith completed his hat-trick and Tyler Lane scored direct from a corner to make it 6-1. Wroughton scored a late consolation to finish at 6-2.
An exciting game at Pewsey saw them and Purton evenly matched. Pewsey took their chances better and secured a 4-2 victory. Purton's goals came from Louis Elton and Mark Woolhouse.
Under 15 Division 2 Highworth Town continued their good form with a 6-1 win over Marlborough. Highworth scored first with a lob over the keeper by Lewis Gibbs, before Marlborough equalised with a penalty.
Highworth then took control of the game with goals from Ian Carey (2), Alex Celer, Sam Slater, and another from their man of the match Lewis Gibbs.
Under 14 Division 3 Sam Nash and Paul Thompson both scored their first goals as Old Town United B ran out 11-1 winners at Wickham Wanderers. Further goals from James Relen (4), Tom Ballard (3), Harry Leigh and a Sean Broomfield penalty gave Old Town a convincing victory.
Greenmeadow continued their winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Penhill Allstars, to keep the promotion race open. Their goals came from Lee Hill, Connor Dettmar, Jake Bailey, Joe Webb and Ryan Simmons Under 13 Division 1 Ferndale Rodbourne beat Croft Juniors 8-0, thanks to a hat-trick from Jake Johns, a brace from Stuart Fraser, and one each from Jack Allen, Liam Gallagher and Callum Parsons.
Under 13 Division 2 After enjoying most of the possession and chances in the first half, Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals were unlucky to be beaten 2-1 by Shaw B. Royals scored first through Markus, then Shaw converted a penalty and sealed it five minutes from the end.
Under 13 Division 3 For the second week running, Wanborough came back from two goals down to equalise, this time with goals from Will Brittain in the first half and Matt Raymond in the second. Lydiard then scored again and held on for the win.
Under 12 Division 2 FC Abbey Meads' Jay Kilburn opened the scoring against Greenmeadow, then Thomas Baldwin made it 2-0 at the interval.
They scored four more in the second half, two from Harvey Barrow, one from Nathan Spurrett and another from Baldwin.
Under 12 Division 3 In a low-key game at Swindon Soccer Skills, Oaksey's Ryan Adams grabbed a first half hat-trick. After the break, Jonny Williams made it four before Swindon pulled one back to finish at 4-1.
Under 11 West Wroughton opened the scoring in their home fixture against Malmesbury, with a low drive from Ben Stratford, and their second came from William Heather.
Malmesbury picked up the pace in the second half and Robbie Pitman scored.
With six minutes to go, an excellent free kick by Harry Alexander deflected off a defender into the Malmesbury net to make it 3-1 to Wroughton.
Fairford Youth took a 3-0 lead against Wootton Bassett with first half goals from Liam Risby, Zeb Waite and an excellent solo goal from Daniel Schofield.
Bassett battled back well in the second half, scoring twice, but Fairford held on to get the points.
Wootton Bassett went into their game against Stratton Youth with a 100 per cent record and well organised defending from both sides kept the score to 0-0 at the break.
Bassett came out the stronger of the two in the second half and a header from Craig McLauchlin, plus an unfortunate own goal gave them a 2-0 win.
Croft entertained Greenmeadow who started the brighter and took an early 2-0 lead, but Croft fought their way back into it with a Brad Pearce penalty.
Greenmeadow scored again just before the interval and eventually ran out 3-1 winners Under 11 Central Two goals from George Lybech-Harris and one each for Adam Bartlett and Liam Deans helped Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals to a 4-0 win over Ashton Keynes.
Greenmeadow secured a 5-2 victory at South Swindon, thanks to goals from Aiden Patterson (2), Jermaine Hemming (2) and Freddy Gammer.
Under 10 West FC Abbey Meads defeated Coleview Juniors 7-0. Their man of the match Sam Edwards scored two, the other goals coming from Lewis Newman (2), Jack Uzzell (2) and Callum Matthews.
Highworth Juniors just edged out Wootton Bassett 2-1 thanks to two goals from Kalam Ahmed.
Brinkworth Cats A hosted Hungerford Town in a good open game with plenty of movement.
A clever corner from Cats saw Jake Covey get a well-deserved goal, which he then followed up with another, meaning another Cats win with another clean sheet.
Fairford Youth took on Shaw A, who Shaw took an early lead through Levi Kuenen.
Fairford came back and were rewarded with a second half equaliser, only for Kuenen to notch a late winner.
Under 10 Central Greenmeadow B snatched a 2-1 away win at Purton A with both their goals coming from Ryan Lovitt.
Under 10 South Cricklade started well against Liden and scored first through Daniel Baverstock. Liden pulled a goal through Bradley Mark.
An unlucky Liden own goal enabled Cricklade to go ahead and they increased their lead to 4-1 with two goals from their man of the match Luke Olutomogun.
But the game was not over as Liden fought back with two goals from Devon Fletcher to set up a nervy finish.
Cricklade keeper William Ponting made a number of important saves as Cricklade held on for the 4-3 win.
Under 9 North In an evenly matched game, both Stratton Juniors and Wickham Wanderers, Wickham went into an early lead and had a 2-0 advantage at the interval.
Stratton fought back and pulled one back through Callum Stockley-Phillips to set up a tense finish.
Under 9 Central Blueprint Chiseldon ran out comfortable 9-0 winners in their away fixture at Penhill Knights. On target for Chiseldon were Jamie Corden with four well taken goals, Benjamin Powell, Hayden Garraway, with Josh Baker (2) and Karl Hiscocks scoring their first goals of the season.
Under 9 South Leaders Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals kept up their 100 per cent record with a comfortable win against a battling Ramsbury side.
Morgan Buckle shot Shrivenham ahead and then made it 2-0 from the penalty spot shortly afterwards.
Ramsbury battled away well but could not prevent the prolific Buckle completing his hat-trick.
An entertaining fixture between Stratton Juniors and Liden B saw level at half time 0-0.
Lewis Wray put Stratton ahead soon after, before a free kick leveled it for Liden. Callum Richardson restored Stratton's lead and minutes later Wray put the result beyond doubt at 3-1.
Under 14 CUP Highworth powered into the semi final following a 13-1 defeat of first division rivals Old Town A.
Josh Morse scored twice, and there were also doubles for Louis Cusack, Jacob Hayden and Sam Farr.
The scoring was completed with an own goal and another four for Danny Hale. Old Town's consolation came from Eddie Herbert.
Under 13 CUP Purton were asked to play in the WC Stokes Cup, organised by Durrington Rangers of the South Wilts league.
Durrington scored first but were pegged back by a goal from Braedon Cleverley. Purton then went ahead through Jack Duffy, only for Durrington to score twice in the next half hour.
Chris Middlecoate scored a penalty for Purton in the 35th minute, to take the match into a penalty shoot out.
At 7-7 after 10 kicks each, the goalkeepers stepped up and Purton keeper Bradley Matthew scored in the top corner. The Durrington keeper missed to see Purton through to the semi-finals.
