CIRENCESTER Town and Chippenham Town meet tonight at the Corinium Stadium, following a weekend where the visitors extended their unbeaten run to seven games.

The Bluebirds held leaders King's Lynn to a 2-2 draw at Hardenhuish Park, while Cirencester didn't fare so well as they were on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline against Rugby Town.

Ciren will be looking for a much-improved performance after a poor show against fellow strugglers Rugby.

The hosts took the lead against the run of play on 25 minutes when Michael Jackson took advantage of defensive hesitation to fire home from the edge of the box.

Rugby were soon level as David Stone equalised, and they were infront six minutes before the break when the unmarked Scott Musgrove netted from five yards.

At Hardenhuish Park, David Pratt's brace twice put Chippenham infront against their Norfolk opponents, but they were pegged back each time.

Pratt's double took his tally to five goals in three games, but the forward's copy book was blotted late with a red card after he aimed a punch at Greg Crane.

The former Supermarine man broke the deadlock on 18 minutes with a close range finish, but Jack Defty pounced on a poor clearance from Matthew McEntegart to equalise on the stroke of half-time.

Four minutes after the restart, Pratt grabbed his second with a poacher's effort, but on 75 minutes a handball from Ollie Price saw Joe Francis score from the penalty spot.

Aaron Cornwall is Chippenham's only absentee for tonight's game through suspension, while Cirencester's Paul Cochlin looks set to miss out with a foot injury.
