WROUGHTON A went back to the top of the under 18 league table after beating in-form Chalford 4-1.

Wroughton went ahead after 15 minutes through Arron Hall.

Wroughton dominated and scored again through Sam Elwell, making it 2-0 at the break.

Chalford started the second half stronger and pulled one back within 10 minutes, but were caught on the break for Hall to score his second, and in-form striker Dan Hall netted with a diving header to make it 4-1 - a result that took Wroughton back to the top.

Under 15 Division 2

Highworth stormed to victory over current leaders Old Town by a convincing 5-0 margin.

Highworth took the lead through Mitchell Webb and further goals were then added by Lewis Gibbs (2), Alex Celer and Ian Carey, to move them to within a point of Old Town, with a game in hand.

Under 14 Division 1

Following last week's cup quarter-final, Highworth and Old Town met again in the league and Highworth eventually prevailed with a 5-0 win.

The match was goalless at half-time but Danny Hale then scored four times - for the third consecutive game - and Louis Cusack got the other.

Malmesbury scored first and last in their game at Penhill Allstars, but the Allstars scored seven in between. Bradley Ray netted five, the other strikes coming from Arron Jones and Lewis Chubb.

Under 14 Division 3

Kurt Giddings came back to haunt his old team with a superb first-half strike, as Old Town United B won the top-of-the-table clash against Greenmeadow B.

James Relen and Tom Ballard bagged a hat-trick each for the second week running and Jake Reeves got his fourth of the season to give Old Town an 8-3 victory.

Under 12 Division 2

Croft A travelled to Wanborough and produced a quality performance to come away with a 9-0 victory.

A hat-trick from George Slade, two from Tom Whatley and a Connor Howie strike gave the visitors a 6-0 half-time lead.

Two second-half goals from Drew Roberts and one from Alex Grant wrapped up the points for Croft.

Eldene Rangers put on an excellent team performance against Avonvale, showing great determination after the visitors went a goal up in the first half.

Eldene battled back with Mabick Thapa scoring the equaliser, and Liam Clark got the winner with a well-taken penalty.

FC Abbey Meads opened the scoring at Blunsdon with a cracking goal from Harvey Barrow. This was followed by another excellent goal from Jay Kilbane to give them a 2-0 lead at the interval.

Abbey Meads kept up the pressure after the break, resulting in three more goals, one from Nathan Spurrett and two from captain Tyler Edwards.

Under 12 Division 3

Second-placed Marlborough Town beat third-placed Bassett Rangers 8-2 in a sporting game. Marlborough's scorers were Kevin Ridley (2), Tom Flippance (2), Jacob Garrett (2), Zak Messenger, and Sam Flippance.

Oaksey took the lead through Jack Bayliss but sloppy defending let visitors Tetbury in and Oaksey were 2-1 down at the break.

A quick strike from Tetbury made it 3-1, then despite an onslaught from Oaksey, only Bayliss hit the net to see Tetbury run out 3-2 winners.

A hard fought match at Penhill saw Swindon Soccer Skills finally go down 8-3. Their scorers were Michael Wilkins, Lee Martin and Ryan Michael.

Under 11 North

A brace each from Joshua Ayres and Harry Chevis helped Stratton secure a 13-2 away victory over a spirited Hungerford side. Harris, Cozens, Haydon, Glover and Osborne all netted for the visitors.

Lydiard Youth took all three points at Blueprint Chiseldon.

Blueprint opened the scoring with a penalty early on, but Lydiard hit back with goals from Kieron O'Daly and Callum McCormack.

Blueprint pulled level early in the second half, but an Aaron Sawyer goal ensured the points went to Lydiard 3-2.

Under 11 West

Wroughton opened the scoring at Ramsbury through Grant Sanders. Curtis Payne then added a further two goals from two excellent free kicks.

Ramsbury pulled one back after the break, from a penalty, but Wroughton again extended their lead thanks to Aiden Schonke, making the final score 4-1.

Wootton Bassett took the lead against White Horse Juniors through Andrew Leigh, and Nick Crawford made it 2-0 at the interval.

In the second half Bassett continued to push forward and were rewarded with another goal from Jemil Ates to make it 3-0.

Under 10 North

Swindon Rangers A maintained their 100 per cent record, coming out 2-0 winners in a top-of-the-table clash against Cirencester G.

Jack Steed opened the scoring for Rangers and Alex Fenton made it 2-0 before the break. An evenly balanced second half saw both sides have chances, but the score remained 2-0.

Under 10 West

FC Abbey Meads beat Shaw 3-0 with goals from Mikey Ejsmont (2), and Sam Davies.

In an evenly-matched fixture between Eldene Rangers and Coleview, Eldene twice took the lead with goals from Connor Dart and Jake Adlem, but Coleview snatched the points with a last-minute winner.

Under 10 Central

Highworth beat Ashton Keynes 6-0 with goals from Snowdon (4) and Richardson (2).

Greenmeadow beat Blunsdon Colts 5-3. Dominic Gowland forced the first goal, then captain Tyler Johnson and Connor Middleton both netted twice.

Marlborough Town secured a 5-1 home victory over Stratton Juniors, thanks to a goal from Ffion Williams and a brace each for William O'Donnell and Louis Hart.

Under 10 South

Cricklade overcame a determined Purton side. Luke Olutunmogun put Cricklade ahead only for Jack Hawkins to equalise just before the break.

Olutunmogun put Cricklade back into the lead and Gary McDonald made it 3-1.

Elliot Mayo made it 3-2 with 10 minutes left, and McDonald settled it at 4-2 for Cricklade.

Under 9 North

Greenmeadow scored a 4-0 home win against Highworth Juniors, their goals coming from Jordan Smith (2), Brandon Watts and Matthew Panella Lach.

Wickham Wanderers went in at half-time with a 1-0 advantage over Stratton Juniors.

In the second half, Jamie Pinnock equalised, but Wickham quickly retook the lead.

Stratton equalised through Kieran Moran, and he netted another to see Stratton run out 3-2 winners.

Under 9 South

Ferndale went ahead against South Swindon through Joshua Iles.

After the break, the floodgates opened, with Daniel Raymen scoring two, and Iles and Walker one each.
