Lambourn Sports moved menacingly into second place in the top division with a 7-2 win against an increasingly doomed-looking Marcham.

Matthew Pedder (2), Adrian Mooney (2), Ben Hopkins (2) and Darren Jones netted for visitors Lambourn.

Coleshill United have given themselves a lifeline at the bottom of the table after a 5-2 win at Steventon, thanks to goals from Adam Legg (2), Adam Sly, Adam Brooks and Paul Moss.

Faringdon Town got the beating of Wootton & Dry Sandford for the third time this season, as goals from Paul Hulme and Matthew Hickson wrapped up a 2-0 win. The deadlock in an even game was broken by a brilliant free-kick by Hulme in the 62nd minute and the match settled with a goal two minutes from time.

Division Two leaders Crowmarsh Gifford had a bit of a shock as struggling Shrivenham A took a first-half lead.

However, Danny Keeler restored parity and Andy Allum netted twice in the final 20 minutes as Crowmarsh stayed well clear of the chasing pack.

Coleshill United Reserves and Grove Rangers met each other for the second time in two weeks and this time settled for a 2-2 draw - Alan Souch got both goals for Coleshill.

Even fourth-placed Lambourn Reserves could not take advantage as relegation-threatened East Hendred took three precious points in a 2-1 win, David Hogben scoring for Lambourn.

In Division Five, Faringdon Town A won the local derby game at Coleshill United A thanks to goals from Matty Curtis (2) and James Tyler.

Martin Chivers and Chris Bill scored for the home side but Faringdon now leapfrog Coleshill in the table.
