DAVE Webb is urging his Highworth Town players to come up with the right reaction' as they travel to lowly Harrow Hill tonight in the Hellenic League Premier Division.

Last time out Highworth were on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline against North Leigh, and although they take on a side with just six points to their name tonight, Webb knows his troops can't take anything for granted.

He revealed: "They (Harrow Hill) got their first win and three points on Saturday and I was quite pleased about that.

"It was nice knowing that we haven't got to go there with them so desperate to win.

"But they'll be determined to carry on, and we'll have to be right at it to get the points.

"We've had a bit of time to reflect on the North Leigh defeat.

"All the units throughout the team weren't at their best, and too many players had bad nights. Against the top sides you cannot afford to have bad nights.

"All we're looking for is the right reaction to a poor performance."

Mark Jordan and Andy Minturn are still sidelined through injury, but Tom Dingle and Mark Belcher return.

New signing Lee Matthews will make his debut in goal, with regular keeper Ian Gill away on holiday.

Webb knows that when facing a struggling side it can be easy to get complacent, but he is determined to make sure his players are in the right frame of mind to bring home all three points.

"The problem is that you've got to go one-and-a-half hours down the road and you've got to prepare properly.

"We've got to make sure we're mentally and physically right or else they'll get something from it.

"If we don't go there right at it then we'll get punished and it will be a tougher game than it should be."

Elsewhere, Shrivenham entertain Milton United, with co-boss Pete Horwat aiming to pick up a win against a team close to them in the league.

Although Shrivvy have put in impressive performances against some of the division's best sides, they have been let down elsewhere with some mediocre displays.

With the exception of thigh strain victim Russell Byrne, Shrivenham have a full strength squad, and Horwat admitted: "They are a good team who are nice and tidy.

"They are hard working with a couple of good front lads.

"We've got to respond to the defeat we had on Saturday, and it is a way for the lads to show that it was a one-off.

"We need to look for consistency.

"We can play with the best of them, as we showed against Almondsbury and Hungerford, but we need to make sure we're competing with and beating the teams in and around us."
