LAMBOURN Sports came from behind with two goals in quick succession just after the half-time break, to stun Division One title rivals Drayton 2-1 and become favourites to reclaim the championship they won in 2006.
Back in seventh place are Faringdon Town and, with games in hand and Lambourn to play twice, they may still make a late challenge in the home straight.
They made short work of Marcham with goals from Gary Sutton (2), Robbie Harrington (2) and Lee Ruddle (2, 1 pen.) in a 6-0 drubbing.
Harwell International won 3-1 against Coleshill United with goals from Fletcher Hoey, Mike Yardley and Lawrence Hoey.
In Division Two, Shrivenham A beat Long Wittenham Athletic 3-0 with goals from John Himple and Carl Standen (2).
In Division Three Faringdon Town Reserves moved into fifth spot as goals from Danny Courtney (2), Matt Howe and Kelvin Jackson gave them a 4-1 win at Marcham Reserves.
It was semi-final day in the North Berks League Cup, with Didcot Casuals Reserves beating Faringdon Town A 1-0 and Coleshill United A thrashing Long Wittenham Reserves 6-0 with goals from Adam Sly (2), Chris Bill, James Head, John McLeod and Adam Starling.
