The cup competition again took precedence this week with the remaining two ties being played in the George Thomas Cup.

The semi-final places were completed, with Bulldog and South Swindon joining Catalus and Trailers in the hat.

Bulldog travelled to Ramsbury with the home side managing to boss the early exchanges, taking a 2-1 half-time lead thanks to goals from Oram and Marchetti.

The first 10 minutes of the second half saw Bulldog explode into action with an additional three quickfire strikes from Anton Webb, Rhys Morgan and Holgate with his second of the game.

South Swindon entertained lowly Aldbourne, running out 7-1 winners thanks to goals from Webb with a hat-trick, Edwards with a pair and singles from Titcombe and Wills, with his first ever goal after coming on as sub.

Division One saw one game played between Lower Stratton and Trailers with the away side taking all three points.

Stratton found themselves 3-0 down early in the first half, but they responded with two strikes from Cole.

They continued to press forward only to be caught on the break with Trailers sneaking a fourth to win. Trailers scorers were Gleed, G Chappell, S Chappell and Hedges.

The Premier Division had two games with tabletoppers Rodbourne Arms consolidating their position with a 6-2 win despite a fighting display from North Swindon WMC.

The away side's scorers were Toomey and Baker with a pair apiece and strikes from subs Davis and Moulton.

VBA Rangers still remain the only winless team in the league. This week they were thumped 7-3 by Catalus, who led 5-0 at half- time.

The second half started much the same with an early goal to make it 6-0. Rangers scored through defender Pete Cork, and added a second through Walton before Catalus got their seventh.

Cork rounded off the scoring with his second. Catalus scorers were Meredith, Groundsell, Drinkwater, a Paggett hat-trick and an own goal.
