SWINDON Town's League Two home game against Sutton United on Tuesday night will feature a number of tributes to Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
All football fixtures across the United Kingdom were postponed last weekend following The Queen's death on Thursday, including Town's scheduled home game against Newport County.
But as teams return to action for the first time since, the English Football League has announced a handful of tributes that all its clubs will abide by in midweek.
Pre-match, Town will hold a minute's silence before the national anthem is played. Flags will also be flown at half-mast throughout the evening, and players from both sides will wear black armbands on their left side.
In a short statement by the EFL, the governing body said some games could still be postponed due to policing issues but that decision would be made on a case-by-case basis.
The EFL said: "With a national policing plan now in operation, the League and clubs will continue to work with forces in respect of any challenges that may emerge regarding policing of specific fixtures.
"Consideration to individual circumstances will be made on a case-by-case basis, in line with standard match Safety Advisory Group (SAG) protocols."
No EFL matches are expected to be affected, including those taking place in London.
On Friday, Town confirmed Tuesday night's fixture against Sutton would go ahead as planned.
The club said: "Games will recommence on Tuesday, 13 September, which means our scheduled League Two clash with Sutton United at The County Ground - kick off 7.45pm - will still go ahead as planned unless we are advised otherwise."
Swindon also stated that anyone with a ticket for Saturday's postponed game against Newport would be able to use these for the re-arranged fixture once a new date has been confirmed, and the club would release further details surrounding refunds once they have them.
