Swindon Town have announced the move of George Cowmeadow to National League South side Slough Town on a month-long loan deal.
It is the 18 year olds first loan away from Town, who is yet to make a first team league appearance.
Having been at SN1 since 2014, it is an opportunity for the youngster to gave himself a shot at impressing head coach Scott Lindsey and pave his way into Swindon's first team.
He made his first team debut back in October 2021 in a EFL trophy fixture against Plymouth Argyle, where he was subbed on in the 63rd minute which ended in a 3-1 victory for Town.
Since Lindsey has took charge, Cowmeadow has featured in the Carabao Cup and the Papa John's Trophy so far this season, and will now look to get some first team experience with Slough.
Slough, who are managed by Neil Baker and Jon Underwood, currently sit ninth in the National League south.
The exciting talent could feature in their FA Cup qualifying tie against Worthing on Saturday.
Cowmeadow could also be involved against local side Chippenham Town on September 29 in National League South.
The short team loan deal is subject to FA approval.
