SWINDON Town Official Supporters Club previews the group's two upcoming live events - including next Wednesday's Fans' Forum.

What a difference back-to-back wins make! Anyone who travelled up to Doncaster to watch Swindon Town comfortably secure all three points at the Eco-Power Stadium will have enjoyed the fist pumping from Scott Lindsey at the final whistle. With the away fans singing Lindsey’s name from start to finish, those six points do feel like a season-defining moment, and hopefully the team can really push on from here.

Saturday was also Jacob Wakeling’s fourth goal of the season. He’s starting to look like the signing of the season. Along with Tom Clayton and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, these are all prime examples of STFC’s new data driven 'moneyball' recruitment strategy. Over-looked by other teams but hugely talented - players that will no doubt secure large transfer fees in the future.

Next week is the live Fans' Forum in the Legends Lounge – on Wednesday, September 28. The OSC have teamed up with Trust STFC and The Sir Tom Broadbent Lounge to hold the event. Vic Morgan will be the MC for the evening, and panellists include Clem Morfuni, Rob Angus, Zav Austin, Sandro Di Michele, Greg Norman and head coach Scott Lindsey. TSTBL will be streaming the event live on Twitter for those that can’t join in person. Tickets have now all gone and OSC members received priority access for these – so make sure you join the OSC to take advantage of future promotions!

The OSC is also holding a Monday Night Panel Live! event on October 3 in the Legends Lounge – starting at 7pm. Joining Vic will be two STFC legends Christian Roberts and Lee Peacock. This should be a fantastic evening with some fantastic stories to recount! Tickets are now on sale from the OSC website.

Last week, it was the Advisory Board meeting which the OSC attended. It was the first anniversary of the original meeting and all participants reflected on some of the positive impacts of the Advisory Board.

We don’t think there’s ever been a period where communication between supporters and STFC has been more transparent – especially regarding finances. There were also several clear examples provided where the club has made decisions based on feedback given to the AB – for example, club shop opening times and ticket pricing. Long may this continue.

Onto Grimsby away then and another long journey - Come on you Reds!
