SWINDON Town will travel to League Two rivals Stockport County in the first round of this season's FA Cup.

Scott Lindsey's men will make their way up to Edgeley Park - most likely on Saturday, November 5 - to face a team they drew 1-1 against earlier in the season.

Frazer Blake-Tracy scored Swindon's goal early in the second half before Paddy Madden was sent off with 10 minutes to go for an altercation with Saidou Khan.

But just four minutes later, Antoni Sarcevic volleyed home an emphatic equaliser to ensure the points were shared.

It is the second season in a row Town have been drawn away in the first round, with last year's run to the third round against Manchester City beginning with a trip to Crewe Alexandra.

The winners will receive a place in the second round plus £41,000 prize money - an increase of £18,500 from last season.

Stockport are currently 16th in League Two having won three and drawn three of their 13 fixtures.

Dave Challinor's men have scored just 14 goals and have conceded 19 so far, despite being hotly-tipped for promotion by many experts at the start of the season.

The League Two rivals have never faced each other in a cup competition, with Swindon having taken the spoils in 16 of the 35 league fixtures.

Stockport have won 11 previous matches, and there have been eight draws - including the most recent stalemate.
