Swindon Town striker Charlie Austin has been awarded a special card on the football video game FIFA 23 after scoring four goals last weekend.
The Englishman netted all four goals last Saturday as the Robins were held to a dramatic 4-4 draw at the Crown Oil Arena against Rochdale.
Austin’s scoring efforts in front of goal have now been recognised in the football video game FIFA 23, which has featured him in their latest Team of the Week promotion.
Players who have performed well in real-life matches across the world are selected to be part of the promotion each week, seeing their base cards given boosted statistics to reflect their achievements on the pitch.
The former Premier League striker has been given a card with an overall rating boost of nine, meaning he now boasts a rating of 81 out of 100.
It is a rarity to see a League Two player featured and even rarer to see a Town player included, which goes to show just how good of a game Swindon’s frontman had.
Alongside Austin, other big names to be featured in this week’s edition included Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, Barcelona’s Frenkie De Jong.
