The County Ground has been immortalised into a colourful painting to celebrate the joint purchase of the stadium by the club and fans.
Having been owned by Swindon Borough Council for decades, a joint motion encompassing the club and the fans was tabled and finalised last week with the stadium now owned in a 50:50 split between the two parties.
James Muddiman, from Chesterfield, paints football grounds up and down the country as both a hobby and a business, with Swindon being the latest to receive the brushstroke treatment.
The 41-year-old artist had previously done a painting with a view from the stands within the County Ground but has now opted for an outside angle.
“I wanted to paint another painting of the County Ground but with it angled from outside this time as I like to give fans a variety of designs,” he said.
“This one is different as it's the view that lots of fans have approaching the ground as opposed to the inside view.
“I went for this angle as I think it is the view I see in my mind eye of County Ground approach and I think it’s a good composition.”
The A3 prints are available on James’ website for the price of £15 including postage and packaging.
