CHARLIE Austin has not been named in the Swindon Town squad to face Tranmere Rovers on Easter Monday.
Reports emerged on Monday morning that the 33-year-old had been told not to travel by head coach Jody Morris in a bid to rest the striker for the final half-dozen matches.
Austin has netted eight goals in 13 games since returning to the club at the start of January.
With the club's big name not included, Morris made three changes to the side which started the 4-2 defeat to Mansfield Town on Good Friday.
Leading assistant, Remeao Hutton dropped to the bench - as does Ronan Darcy - while Jonny Williams, Marcel Lavinier, and Tyrese Shade were all brought into the starting XI.
Meanwhile, Tranmere start former Swindon defender Jordan Turnbull - who was sent off late on in the reverse fixture - and Josh Hawkes, who scored in the 1-1 draw at the County Ground.
Austin's fellow front man, Tomi Adeloye and attacking midfielder Ricky Aguiar were also not included in Swindon's match-day 18.
