IT IS almost time for Adver Sport readers to crown their Swindon Advertiser Swindon Town Player of the Season for 2022-23.

Harry McKirdy won last year’s trophy following a remarkable goal-scoring campaign, but with no runaway sharp-shooter this term, Town fans will be able to choose from five players – to be revealed on Wednesday – who have shone for different reasons.

At the end of a difficult season for the club – a far cry from 2022’s near-Hollywood ending – Adver Sport is going to run our awards a little differently this year.

Everyone will be able to vote for your ‘Goal of the Season’ and ‘Game of the Season’ lower down in this article, while only subscribers will be able to have their say on the prestigious Swindon Advertiser Swindon Town Player of the Season once voting goes live on Wednesday morning.
