SWINDON Town will play Colchester United away on the opening day of the 2023-24 League Two season.
In a fascinating first month of fixtures for Mike Flynn's men, a meeting with former head coach Ben Garner is up first on Saturday, August 5.
Swindon's first home match arrives a week later in the form of Crewe Alexandra - the side Swindon faced in their final away game of last season - on Saturday, August 12.
Anticipated clashes with local rivals Forest Green Rovers and the most talked-about League Two side, Wrexham are early in the new term for Town.
The Robins travel to Nailsworth on Tuesday, August 15 before making the journey up to north Wales on Saturday, August 19.
Swindon will welcome Wrexham to the County Ground on Boxing Day for the reverse fixture, while Town then host Forest Green a few days later on Friday, December 29.
After Town host Scott Lindsey's Crawley Town on Saturday, August 26, Flynn's men can look forward to playing the Red Devils in Sussex on New Year's Day.
Easter weekend features Notts County at home on Good Friday and Sutton United away on Easter Monday. Those games are March 29, 2024 and April 1, 2024, respectively.
And on the final day of the season, Swindon will welcome Morecambe to the County Ground.
Completing the trilogy of games against former managers, Swindon face a long week of travelling in early October as they take on Luke Williams' Notts County away on Tuesday, October 3 before facing Bradford City at Valley Parade on Saturday, October 7.
Games against Gillingham and Accrington Stanley are all scheduled to be on Tuesday nights next season.
Gillingham at home is set for Tuesday, October 24, and the reverse fixture is Tuesday, February 13.
Meanwhile, Town travel to Accrington Stanley on Tuesday, November 28 while the return game is Tuesday, March 12.
