WILTSHIRE County Cricket Club had to settle for a draw in their first match of the NCCA County Championship Western Division two, as rain disrupted their three-day test against Wales National County.
Wiltshire won the toss at Corsham Cricket Club and asked the visitors to bat first. Steady batting by Wales kept the scoreboard moving until their skipper Cam Herring came in at number six and proceeded to score an impressive 171 not out off 182 balls, leading the charge for a final innings of 408-9 off 90 overs.
The hosts started their innings on the second day, Man of the Match Jack Mynott scored the highest out of the batsmen with 83, as Wiltshire ended up all out for 357.
