A pair of Swindon Town legends are set to attend a hosted talk regarding the club’s planned museum.

John Trollope and Keith Morgan - who amassed more than 1,000 Town appearances between them - will both be at the Ellendune Centre this month.

The players and audience will be spoken to by Town's official club historian Richard Mattick, as he shares stories of the club’s history.

Richard has unique access to archive footage and prized items from the STFC collection but the team would like to put together more pieces for the museum.

Tickets cost £5.50 if bought from Wroughton Community Library, or £6.50 from Eventbrite.

“Items of memorabilia, football-related family photographs and anecdotes for the club’s new museum are welcomed,” said Swindon artist and historian Hannah Dosanjh.

“If you think you have something of interest in that dusty old box on top of the wardrobe, please bring it to this event.”

“People can donate things that they would like to see in the museum as well and I feel that it will be a really nice event.”

The event will take place at the Ellendune Centre on Barrett Way in Wroughton on Friday, October 27 with doors opening at 7pm with a 9pm finish.
