Swindon Town have announced a special hospitality package will be available for their Boxing Day League Two clash with Wrexham AFC.

In the middle of a hectic Festive period in which Swindon will play four games in eight days, Town will be playing host to the side currently sat second in the fourth tier on Boxing Day and they have announced a special hospitality package for the game which will be done in partnership with Leonardo Hotels.

The club announced on their website that the regular hospitality suites for the game are already fully booked over a month before kick-off, so they decided to create a new package for the game.

Those interested have the option of two packages, one of which costs £150 and gets you Bed and Breakfast, a three-course dinner, a ticket in the Don Rogers Stand, a match programme, and a team sheet. The second package costs £250 and gets you all the elements of the first but for two people.

The game is expected to be one of the busiest of the season at the County Ground, with the Welsh club having extra attention on them from their celebrity owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds and their Disney+ documentary.

Wrexham have taken over 1,000 away fans to six of their eight away games this season and more than two thousand on three occasions.

The Red Dragons will be coming to the County Ground for the first time since 2007 when Sofiene Zaaboub and Christian Roberts’ goals cancelled out an early Marc Williams strike to give Town all three points and the Welsh club last won in Wiltshire in August 1985.

The reverse fixture in August was a show-stopping 5-5 draw at STōK Cae Ras where two stoppage-time goals for the hosts prevented Town from claiming victory.
