Swindon Town have confirmed their sixth pre-season friendly of the summer as they will be heading to National League outfit Eastleigh.

Town will be visiting The Silverlake Stadium for the third consecutive summer as they take on Eastleigh on Sunday, July 28 with a 1 pm kick-off, with Scott Lindsey and Michael Flynn having taken the team to Hampshire on the previous two occasions.

The match comes two weeks before the start of the League Two season as Mark Kennedy’s side ramp up their preparations for the competitive matches, with this game preceding the final warm-up match against Wycombe Wanderers at the County Ground on August 3.

Swindon are also facing a group of local Non-League sides prior to this match as they visit Swindon Supermarine, Highworth Town, Melksham Town, and Hungerford Town.

The identity of the side that Town will face in their opening match of the season is yet to be confirmed, with the fixtures being released on June 26.

Kennedy will be using these games to help get his team ready for the beginning of the season, with a large turnover in players coming this summer, three new players have already come through the door in Ollie Clarke, Tunmise Sobowale, and Rosaire Longelo.
