The relegated sides from League One have stepped up their preparations as it has been another busy fortnight of League Two transfers.

A further 31 signings have happened in the last two weeks as sides in the fourth tier ready themselves for the imminent start of pre-season and we have seen big moves for the sides who came down last season.

Michael Flynn has instantly begun to stamp his mark at Cheltenham Town as five new players have walked through the door, with some big experience. The Robins have added 1,869 combined career appearances with the additions of Harry Pell, Scott Bennett, Ryan Haynes, Luke Young, and Arkell Jude-Boyd.

They weren’t the only active team amongst the four relegated sides as Carlisle United made three new additions in goalkeeper Jude Smith, Inverness defender Cameron Harper for an undisclosed fee, and Terrell Thomas also joins at the back from Charlton Athletic.

Port Vale have also added a new face as they have made Ryan Croasdale the latest title winner with Stockport County last season to remain in the division as he bolsters Darren Moore’s midfield.

Milton Keynes Dons have continued to display their intent to leave nothing to chance next season as they brought in Accrington Stanley’s midfield technician Tommy Leigh for an undisclosed fee and Sam Sherring also opted against extending his contract with Northampton Town to move to Buckinghamshire.

Fellow playoff semi-finalists Doncaster Rovers have also been busy with Ephraim Yeboah and Teddy Sharman-Lowe arriving on loan from Bristol City and Chelsea at either end of the pitch. They have also made star man Tom Nixon’s loan from Hull City a permanent deal.

In an effort to fix their defensive problems from last season, Notts County have added another three players at the back in Morecambe’s Jacob Bedeau, goalkeeper Alex Bass, and Nick Tsaroulla turned down an extension at Crawley Town to move to Meadow Lane.

Former Swindon Town striker Josh Davison has been on the move as AFC Wimbledon’s once-record signing headed up to Birkenhead as he moved to Tranmere Rovers for an undisclosed fee after scoring 13 goals across two seasons at Plough Lane.

In other big moves around the division, Danny Cowley has signed Harry Anderson for the sixth time as the pair reunite at Colchester United, Swindon target from January Cole Stockton has joined Salford City, and Wimbledon have brought in Mansfield Town midfielder John-Joe O’Toole.
