Danny Butterworth felt that Swindon Town did a good job to keep their heads and earn a draw during their 1-1 at Barrow.

Ged Garner scored a delicate opener for the hosts before a sending-off for Paul Farman in goal for Barrow before Harry Smith joined him during the second half but Butterworth snatched a last-minute point with his low drive from range.

Butterworth said that it was very important that Swindon look to maintain their composure in a strange situation and was pleased with the chances they were able to create.

He said: "It was a good point in the end but, like we said in there [the dressing room] if we did take our chances then we should have had all three.

"It was a chaotic game, there were two sendings off and the 'keeper gets sent off so one of the outfielders had to go in net, it was not a normal game by any means.

"Towards the end of the game, I think we might have become a bit panicked because you see the time going down but we stayed patient and the chances came.

"I think we did [test Rory Feely], I think we made some good chances, if you look at the crosses put in the box, there were a few free headers in there.

"It [the red card] was an advantage for us because he [Feely] is not going to be making the saves that a normal 'keeper would but you have to keep your head a bit and not just shoot from, you have to play your game and not get roped into that situation."

Butterworth's goal was a lovely low drive from 35 yards with time about to run out when the midfielder felt like it was now or never.

He said: "Mark [Kennedy]'s message at halftime was to keep your heads but obviously do shoot because look at the goal at the end, it has bounced in front of him and he hasn't managed to keep it out of the net.

"I think we said we would be disappointed if we came away from it and we didn't shoot and makes chances.

"Just before [the goal], I did look at the clock and of course, they are in the corner trying to waste time.

"Jack [Bycroft] kicked it long and we won it from there and I just thought 'I'll have a bit of a crack and see if it goes in.'"
