Swindon Pickleball is adding a new Wednesday session to its regular schedule.
The decision comes in response to increasing demand for the sport, which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis.
The new session will take place every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at Delta Tennis Centre.
Pickleball has seen a significant rise in popularity across the UK, with Swindon Pickleball playing a key role in its growth in the town.
The sport can be played both indoors and outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net.
Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net.
Club representative Andy Lovegrove said: "We’re thrilled to extend our sessions to Wednesdays, as we’ve had so much interest from people wanting to give pickleball a try.
"It's an incredibly inclusive sport that suits all ages and abilities, and we look forward to welcoming even more players to our growing community."
Currently, Swindon Pickleball holds social sessions on Mondays, with nearly 50 players across 10 courts.

The club said the new Wednesday slot will "offer more flexibility for those keen to play more frequently or try the sport for the first time".
Swindon Pickleball was established in June 2023 by four friends and has since become a hub for the town's pickleball community.
Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the club hosted its annual Swindon Pickleball Festival, which attracted more than 90 players from across the UK.
The event was a "huge success," the club said, with participants enjoying a series of competitive matches and social games.
It added: "The festival provided a fantastic opportunity for players to connect, develop their skills, and celebrate the thriving Pickleball community in Swindon."
The club said it focuses on "inclusivity and fun" and offers social sessions to players of all skill levels and ages.
