A surprise name has been chosen as Swindon Town’s best as the squads’ ratings in EA Sports FC 25 have been revealed.
The second edition of the video game franchise EA FC releases on Friday, September 20 in the UK and ahead of this the ratings for every player in the game have been announced.
Three Town players will share the title as the highest-rated in the new game with Gavin Kilkenny and Grant Hall both being rated as 65 in the game alongside Nnamdi Ofoborh.
Although Ofoborh has performed well since joining at the end of March last season, he has fallen down the pecking order since the arrivals of former AFC Bournemouth teammate Kilkenny and Danny Butterworth late in the window under Mark Kennedy.
The new head coach even said he would consider the possibility of Ofoborh heading out on loan, although those in charge of ratings at EA Sports clearly see him as a key player at the Nigel Eady County Ground.
Beneath those three, Kabongo Tshimanga and Will Wright are the fourth and fifth highest-rated players in the squad with an overall rating of 63.
Butterworth is the fastest player in the squad, according to the ratings, with a pace statistic of 83, narrowly ahead of Rosaire Longelo (82), Tshimanga (79), and Joel McGregor and Tunmise Sobowale (both 77).
Paul Glatzel’s shooting rating of 62 is the best in the squad, ahead of Ollie Clarke, Butterworth, and Harry Smith in joint second with 61.
Kilkenny is also seen as the best passer in the team with a passing rating of 64 ahead of Wright and Jake Cain with 60.
The Irish midfielder is also top for dribbling with 67 ahead of Tshimanga (65) and Cain, Butterworth, and Ofoborh (64).
Hall received the highest rating for defending (65) followed by Ofoborh (62), and Wright and Ryan Delaney on 61.
Smith rules supreme for physicality, earning a rating of 79, ahead of Wright, Delaney, and Clarke all with 75.
