Mark Kennedy and George Cox both felt that this could be a big moment for Swindon Town after their 3-2 victory over Cheltenham Town.

Cox got Swindon off an running during the game as he got on the end of Tunmise Sobowale's cross to open the scoring at The EV Charging Points Stadium.

Will Wright then turned home from Cox's free-kick before Joel McGregor blasted in the third to put Town in command, before George Miller and Ethon Archer's goals made for an uncomfortable ending for Town.

Having won away against Cheltenham for the first time in the club's history, Kennedy said that whilst he was not pleased with how the hosts got back into the game, he was delighted with how his side stood up to the pressure they were put under.

The head coach also discussed his side's proficiency from set pieces during the match and also gave a further update on Kabongo Tshimanga's hamstring injury after not being absolutely certain on the extent of it on Thursday.

Cox said that whilst he was not involved in the game on Tuesday as Swindon demolished Bristol Rovers, he said their performance in the game had given the whole squad a big lift.
