The Adver's Joe Acklam reflects on Swindon Town tasting victory at Cheltenham Town for the first time in their history with a 3-2 win.
Having not won any of their last eight against the Gloucestershire side and having never won at The EV Charger Points Stadium, Mark Kennedy and his side headed their hoping to build on a cup win in midweek.
A scrappy opening to the game was ended as George Cox got away from Liam Kinsella to turn home Tunmise Sobowale's cross, followed quickly by Will Wright scrambling home from Cox's free kick.
Two minutes after halftime, Joel McGregor capitalised on a goalmouth scramble to lash home his first-ever EFL goal to seemingly put the game to bed.
However, George Miller turned home following a defensive lapse in concentration and then Ethon Archer scored from close range for a nervy ending that Swindon held onto.
Following the match, Acklam put his thoughts into words, discussing whether Swindon are out of the woods after their difficult opening ten games, having won twice in a week across all competitions.
He also spoke about the form of Joel McGregor and how he continues to wow every time he steps onto the field in the absence of Jeff King.
