It wouldn’t be until 13 minutes to go when it was four. Matthew McClure did well to keep possession in the box and played it across goal to Owen-Evans who wriggled his shot through the keepers legs to register a successful victory.
Salisbury were meant to play Worthing, but the Rebels were busy in the FA Cup as they hosted League Two outfit Morecambe, but fell to a 2-0 defeat.
Southern Premier League Central – Swindon Supermarine
On the 50th game for Marine manager Stuart Fleetwood as his side secured an important win against play-off hopefuls Dorchester Town.
Michael Fernandes’ low cross found Harry Williams at the front post and he volleyed the ball past the opposition keeper to score the only goal of the game.
After staying up by the one point last campaign, Swindon Supermarine are now in 11th place, just four points away from the top seven.
Southern Football League Division One South – Melksham and Westbury
It was a narrow defeat for Melksham on Tuesday as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Evesham United.
Josh Barlow’s superb effort from around 25 yards out was the difference between them and Evesham United.
Despite the loss, they still sit in 5th place as they hope to mount a play-off charge.
Westbury United made it four games unbeaten with a 1-0 win over Bishops Cleeve, a side who almost made it to the first round of the FA Cup.
Josh Jenkins scored from the spot just five minutes in, which was enough to seal an important win at home for the White Horse Men.

Liam Haines’ header in the 95th minute snatched a point for Highworth at the Elms as they drew 2-2 to Longlevens.
Harry Hillerby’s corner was met by the head of Ash Taylor to put the Worthians 1-0 up but they found themselves 2-1 down after goals in the 77th minute and the 91st.

After an equaliser for Lydney, Linton got his second goal of the game in the 82nd minute which was enough to win the game.
Royal Wootton Bassett went top of the league with a comeback victory against Inkberrow.

Former Swindon midfielder Tommy Ouldridge got the third of the game which put Sam Collier's side top of the table.
