Mr Lucas said: "The funding we received has gone a long way to helping the team with new kits and kit bags.
"We’ve started the season well with lots of positive feedback on how well the kits look.
"Thank you again for making a huge difference to the team."
Royal Mail's Kits 4 Kids programme was launched after numerous requests from employees who wanted to help youth sports teams.
Employees from Royal Mail and Parcelforce were encouraged to nominate grassroots youth sports teams for grant funding, resulting in 1,500 nominations.
Liden Community FC is a youth club with teams ranging from under 6s to under 15s. They play in the North Wiltshire Youth Football League.
