Swindon Town are now four without a win in League Two following their 3-1 defeat at Milton Keynes Dons in League Two.
Having won twice in a week under new manager Ian Holloway across two separate cup competitions, Swindon arrived at Stadium MK looking to capitalise on some new-found positivity.
Harry Smith nodded in at the back post from Ollie Clarke's cross after just 18 seconds to give them the perfect start to do just that.
However, seconds before the half-time whistle, Kane Thompson-Sommers latched onto a loose ball in the penalty area to tuck home the equaliser and flip the game on its head.
After the break, the hosts got clear as first Scott Hogan got a flick on MJ Williams' strike and then Aaron Nemane picked out Alex Gilbey to head in the third goal to give Scott Lindsey's team maximum points.
After the game, The Adver's Joe Acklam spoke about the performance and how Holloway's side stood up to their first real test under his stewardship on the road against a side at the top of League Two.
He discussed the tactical elements that led to Swindon losing their grip on the match and coming back from Buckinghamshire empty handed.
