It was an action-packed week for Wiltshire's non-league sides, but how did they get on?

National League South – Chippenham and Salisbury

Chippenham Town made it three games unbeaten as they rose to 12th place in the sixth division with a 3-0 win against Eastbourne.

Tom Mehew opened the scoring with an erratic finish from the follow-up after Harry Parsons’ shot was saved by Max Metcalfe.

Luke Haines made it two just six minutes later with a long-range header which lobbed the keeper.

A composed one-on-one finish from Parsons rounded off a strong victory for Gary Horgan’s team.

It was the late-late show in North London as Enfield and Salisbury played out a 1-1 draw.

The Towners thought they’d won it with a goal from Adam Thompson as he fired in from inside a crowded penalty area to put them ahead in the 88th minute.

Callum Watts would not let the Whites go down without a fight however, as he poked home the equaliser in the 96th minute after a scramble in the box.

Southern Premier Division South – Swindon Supermarine.

Marine came out on top in a seven goal thriller against Chertsey on the weekend.

Simba Kudyiwa put the hosts in front as he fired in from an Ollie Knight corner, but that lead was short-lived.

Gabe Reivers lashed the ball home in the 17th minute to put Supermarine level which marked his fourth league goal of the campaign.

The goal spurred on the visitors to get find their feet, and after numerous chances, they had the opportunity to get in front.

Connor Lee was judged to have committed a handball inside the area and Michael Fernandes scored from the spot to put Stuart Fleetwood’s team ahead.

Harry Williams made it three seconds before the break as he rose highest at the far post and netted the third to put his side in cruise control.

A quickfire double from Jack Mazzone levelled the scoring on the 53rd and 56th minute mark with a long-range effort and a deflection that fell into his path which provided him with the space to equalise.

The winner would come with nine minutes to go as Williams got his second and found the right-hand corner with an effort from the edge of the area.

Southern Football League Division One South – Melksham and Westbury

Melksham Town and Harlequins played out an entertaining 2-2 draw as the table toppers battled it out in Bemerton.

Sam Hendy put Town ahead inside two minutes in a dream start as the visitors looked to keep their top-spot.

With a red card being the only other highlight of the first half, Joe Smith fired past Alfie Kesley to level the tie.

Melksham would find themselves in the lead again, as Jake Brown’s header found it’s way into the back of the net.

Romanian forward Lolot Ciprian came on a substitute in the 61st minute and scored just one minute later, as he smashed in from a scramble in the area to make it 2-2.

Westbury United fell to defeat and lost their three-game unbeaten run with a 1-0 loss to play-off chasing Yate.

A late goal from James Bryne was the difference as he scored with two minutes of normal time remaining to win it late.

Hellenic League Premier Division, Highworth Town, Corsham and Royal Wootton Bassett

Highworth progressed to the next round of the FA Vase with a comfortable victory over Sherbourne Town.

A cross from the left was met by midfielder Leon Morrison who smashed his volley past the keeper into the roof of the net to give the Worthians the dream start.

Sam Packer doubled the lead in the first minute of stoppage time in the first half as he fired the ball into the back of the net.

Corsham fell to a 5-2 defeat in Slimbridge as they failed to continue their good form.

It was a nightmare first 22 minutes for the Quarrymen as they found themselves 3-0 down thanks to goals from Jack Smith, Josiah McKayle and Theo Clayson.

Devanti McInerey gave the visitors a potential route back into the game as he beat the backline for pace and placed it past Olly Phillips.

Rhys Sarson ended an action-packed first half as he made it four just before the break.

Subsitute Joe Davis lowered the deficit and got Corsham’s second with a well-struck effort from the edge of the box.

Callum Dark made it five for the hosts with a few minutes remaining of the game to secure a strong victory for Slimbridge.

Royal Wootton Bassett fell to a narrow defeat in their visit to Worcester Raiders, which was Sam Collier’s 400th game as a manager.

Brad Pagliaroli’s opener for Bassett was ruled out with a superb bicycle kick from Hanson.

Hanson got his second with twelve minutes to go with a free kick from 25 yards out, as he found the bottom corner with his effort to seal the win.
