ANTHONY McNamee's future looks increasingly like being away from the County Ground after the winger was absent from training this morning.
The 26-year-old has been constantly linked with a switch to League One rivals Norwich over the past few months, and with the emergency loan window closing at 5pm today it seems likely that McNamee could be heading to East Anglia on loan initially, with a view to a permanent switch in January.
The former Watford man - who is out of contract in the summer - has been in indifferent form this season, and the Advertiser understands he did not attend training today, fuelling speculation of a move elsewhere.
Swindon chairman Andrew Fitton refused to confirm or deny the speculation about the winger earlier today, telling the Advertiser: “I cannot comment on that and will not be drawn on it.”
