IFFY Onuora is not adverse to strengthening Town's coaching set-up over the summer although it would have to be the right' person.

However, the manager is keen to stress that while he may be tender in managerial experience, he is far from isolated as he learns his trade.

He is more than happy working alongside Alan Reeves and Ian Woan but if he could unearth an extra coaching signing then he won't be unhappy.

Onuora, who has injury concerns over Steve Jenkins (neck) and Toumani Diagouraga (flu) ahead of today's seasonal finale against Huddersfield Town, said: "I've always said that numbers-wise we are stretched as a coaching staff. "If it's experience, fine. If we could add to it then it's certainly something i'd look at.

"The enthusiasm and willingness is there with myself, Alan and Ian. We work round the clock. If there's people to come in and help us with that I don't have a problem with it. But it's getting the right people on board, on and off the pitch.

"Funnily enough it was me who said to the board a while ago that if they wanted to bring someone in, someone who knew me as well, I didn't have a problem with that."

However, Onuora isn't devoid of or afraid to seek advice from other sources.

He said: "I'm not cast adrift on a management island with no-one to talk to.

"I have people to talk to about players and situations. I'm not alone cutting my teeth. "There's people I respect who are only a phone call away."

As for today's game, youngsters will feature at some stage but it won't be a case of their respective futures depending on their contribution.

Onuora said: "It's no secret that one or two will be in the squad, whether they're in the starting line-up remains to be seen.

"But there isn't the pressure on them in terms of this will decide what happens to them.

"I'm 99 per cent certain of what will happen there."

And looking ahead to next season, Onuora has said he wants to work quickly but admits he may have to show a degree of patience.

He said: "I've said I'd like to get my squad assembled sooner rather than later but I might have to wait longer.

"I've made a couple of enquiries on players and that hasn't been a s fruitful as I'd have liked."
