Hreod Parkway were worthy winners of the Swindon Schools Under 16 Cup and the players dedicated their victory to highly respected teacher Steve Walker, who passed away this year after suffering from cancer.
Walker former chairman at Calne Town took great interest in the team and supported and assisting with running them.
Hreod saw off Bradon Forest 4-2 in an excellent advert for schoolboy football which was played with great spirit and skill at the County Ground.
Bradon Forest had the best of the opening 20 minutes and went 1-0 up through Adam Bursom, only for Steve May to equalise by lobbing the Bradon keeper.
Josh Hansal, followed by a long-range shot by Aaron Stevens increased the lead to 3-1 before an excellent free-kick from outside the penalty area from Lee Moultan sealed the cup for Hreod.
Joseph Mills, brother of Manchester City defender Matthew, scored for Bradon to make it 4-2.
Player of the match was Mark Watts, the Hreod keeper, who made many outstanding saves, particularly in the first half.
Kingsdown won the Under 12 final with a 3-2 extra time victory over St Josephs.
St Josephs opened the scoring, but it was cancelled out by Kingsdown's George Hughes.
Hughes popped up to equalise a second time after St Josephs had taken a 2-1 lead.
Kingdown substitute Ryan Cooper was their hero, scoring the winner in extra time. Player of the match was Kingsdown's Sam Brown who covered every blade of grass.
Last season's county champions, Hreod Parkway were defeated in this season's Under 13 final 4-2 by Greendown.
After riding their luck in the first half, Greendown took their chances to lift the cup. Dominic Rekowski (2), Jordan Roberts and Connor Moody were on target for Greendown, while Josh Parsons replied for Hreod Parkway.
Player of the match was Greendown's Dominic Rekowski.
Bradon Forest beat Ridgeway 4-0 in the Under 14 showpiece.
The score does not reflect the superb effort from the Ridgeway team, who were close to scoring on several occasions only to be denied by in-form keeper Michael Forage.
At the other end, Ridgeway keeper Craig Rawlins made several outstanding saves, but could only watch as Bradon's Will Evans opened the scoring with a shot from the half -way line.
Josh Harper and Marcus Welch made it 3-0 before the break, and Billy Bodin completed the scoring late on.
Jordan Brown and Elliot Knight were outstanding for Ridgeway, but Player of the match went to Bradon's Will Evans.
The Under 15 final at Supermarine saw Ridgeway pip Hreod Parkway 1-0.
Ridgeway scored half way through the first half through Daryl Charman.
Hreod nearly equalised in the second half but some fine saves from Ridgeway's goalkeeper and man-of-the-match James Mullins kept the game at 1-0.
Swindon Schools FA wish to thank Supermarine FC for their help in staging the finals, along with Chris Brook and Swindon Town FC who hosted the under 16 final and Fred Coleman Memorial Cup.
