HAPPILY horrendous' is the Bank Holiday assessment from the Town box office as supporters continue to back the club ahead of the new campaign.
More than 1,800 season tickets have now been sold ahead of tomorrow's early bird deadline.
Fans made full use of the opening hours over the weekend leaving staff with a challenging task to keep up with demand.
However, a positive picture emerged as the dust settled on a busy few days.
A box office spokesman said: "Friday and Saturday were horrendous, very busy indeed.
"Monday also saw steady business as well."
The club estimate around 100 more tickets have been sold than for the same period last year and that on top of a much later start' date.
"We started selling tickets three weeks later this year. So it's going quite well. There's a buzz around the club."
Regular season ticket prices will come into effect after the 5pm deadline passes on Wednesday May 31.
Supporters are reminded that the STFC Superstore will be closed on Wednesday for a stock take.
The official club website allows fans to view the season ticket prices in the information leaflet or the season ticket application form.
The shop will re-open with normal business hours from 9am on Thursday.
