DANNY Wilson has made three changes to Town's starting line-up for this evening's League One play-off semi-final first leg against Charlton at the County Ground.

Out completely goes hamstring-injury victim Billy Paynter, while Stephen Darby and Lecsinel Jean-Francois drop to the bench.

They are replaced by Kevin Amankwaah, Scott Cuthbert and Alan O'Brien, who makes his first start since December.

The loss of top scorer Paynter is huge, with the front man banging in 29 goals in the most prolific season of his career to date.

O'Brien will give Swindon electric pace down the left flank, while Amankwaah provides another attacking outlet for the side from right-back.

Bolton loanee Danny Ward will move up front to partner Charlie Austin, in what is his natural position despite playing as a winger during his time at the County Ground.

Vincent Pericard, who has been struggling with hamstring and heel problems, is back on the bench, alongside another striking option Frank Nouble.

Charlton drop Nicky Forster, who has a nasty habit of scoring against Swindon, down to their substitutes' bench - David Mooney replaces him up front.
