SWINDON Town Football in the Community Trust are hoping that their Whitsun half-term course coincides with celebrations of Town’s promotion to the Championship.
On Saturday Swindon take on Millwall at Wembley in the League One play-off final, and just a few days later a half term football funweek will take place at the County Ground.
Running from Tuesday, June 1, to Friday, June 4, the four-day event will give youngsters the opportunity to participate in coaching sessions, small sided games, ground tours, competitions and tournaments.
Throughout the week the children, aged between five and 15 years, will have the opportunity to developing and enhance their football techniques in a safe and fun environment under the supervision of FA-qualified coaches.
The Trust holds the FA Charter Standard Holiday Course certificate which signifies good practice and high levels of professionalism.
