FORMER Swindon goalkeeper Rhys Evans is currently training with the Robins, but is unlikely to be offered a permanent deal.
Evans, who played for Town for three years from 2003, has been without a club since leaving Southend in the summer.
He was training with the Roots Hall side last week but hooked up with Town this week, prompting speculation the club could be interested in the 29-year-old
However, boss Paolo Di Canio confirmed to the Advertiser today that Evans is at the club solely to maintain fitness, while helping Town with their training drills.
