Chiseldon Reserves and Korr Services played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the Swindon & District Football League Premier Division.

Both sides put in combative displays, and Chiseldon went in to an early 2-0 lead after goals from Dean Darbourne, who scored his first goal for the club, and David Priday.

In the second half, Korr found their shooting boots and scored through Dean Franklin and Michael Lloyd. The game flowed end to end with both teams hitting the cross bar but were unable to find the winning goal.

Old Town United followed up last week’s battling performance with another this week against Queensfield, only losing 3-2.

Old Town dominated the early part of the game scoring through Chris Milne and Naz Jafari, but Queensfield hit back with a goal just before half time.

In the second half Old Town again dominated in the early stages and Dom Terrell missed a great chance to increase their lead, but Queensfield began to push forward and soon drew level, and with 15 minutes to go won the game with a Dan Peoples strike.

Spectrum were four goals up at the end of the first half against ten man Lower Stratton through a penalty by Ross Townsend and goals from Carl O’Regan, Ashley Pitrowski and Craig Kelly.

In the second half TJ Bade pulled one back.

Ramsbury’s Ashley Vokes again scored two goals against Highworth to win the points, and Swindon Spitfires put up a battling performance before eventually losing to in form Swindon Auto Tune Harlequin.

The final match of the day saw VBA Rangers and Pembroke share the points with VBA ruing a lot of missed chances with Gareth Walton scoring their goal.
