DIVISION One leaders CK Scaffolds lost for only the second time this season as they went down 2-0 at the hands of New Century WMC.

They still retain their position at the top of the table because second-placed Greyhound were not in action, but they could go top if they win their game in hand.

In the only other Premier Division game, AFC Gas beat Castrol 5-1 in their mid-table battle.

The top two in Division Two met at Shrewsbury Road, and there was no doubt about the winners as Rodbourne made a statement to the rest of the league and went top with a 7-0 victory over former leaders Coleview.

There was also a shock lower down the division, as Dorcan Old Boys beat fourth placed Wanborough 4-2.

There were no games in Division Three, but in Division Four, leaders Stratton Reform stretched their advantage with a 4-2 victory over Swindon City.

Stratton are now three points clear of Patheon who were not in action.

Elsewhere in the division, Smart Movers and Tawny Owl played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.

The most entertaining games of the weekend were arguably in Division Five where Nationwide played out a remarkable 5-5 draw with third placed AC Bushwackers.

There were also goals galore as Chiseldon hosted Lamb Marlborough, with the visitors coming out 7-5 winners in a 12-goal thriller.

The top two also claimed big wins, with Red Lion FC beating FC Parks 4-0 and Olympic Roofing beating The Rat Trap 3-0.

The two results ensure both sides remain neck-and-neck at the top of the league.

In Division Six, Nythe FC beat Cartus FC 1-0, and Swiss Chalet put in an excellent display to beat third placed Stratton Saints 4-0.

There was a shock in the Chairman’s Trophy competition, as Nine Elms United of Division Seven beat Division One bottom club Coleshill 5-0.
