ALAN Connell hailed the quality throughout the Swindon team after the Robins came out of a top-of-the-table clash with three points tonight.
Connell, back in the first 11 for the first time since the win over Burton, scored the opener against Torquay before Oliver Risser added another to seal victory.
Matt Ritchie provided the assist for both goals while dominant performances all over the pitch restricted Torquay to very few chances.
"I felt really good tonight and grew into the game," said Connell.
"We have so much quality in the side especially on the wings and I just tried to get on the end of things.
"We are on a very good run and everyone played their part."
A win for Torquay would have thrown the title race wide open, but as it is first place is now very much Town's to lose.
But Connell saw enough from Torquay to be convinced that they will go up this season.
"Torquay played very well and they're up there with Shrewsbury in terms of the sides that we have faced," he added.
"I think they (Torquay) will go up."
