PAOLO Di Canio has set his sights on securing promotion as quickly as possible to make amends for today's defeat in the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
An Oliver Risser own goal and a stoppage time Craig Westcarr strike was enough to hand Chesterfield victory.
It was a disappointing end to an impressive run in the JPT, but means all focus can now be put on Town's league campaign.
"We lost the game together, but now we have to come back and make sure we get promoted into League One," said Di Canio.
"Reaching the final was a tremendous achievement but obviously we didn't want the result we got.
"I feel the responsibility in terms of the players that went out for the game but we must not be arrogant.
"We must stay strong and continue with what has been a very good season."
