FARINGDON Town climbed up to third in the North Berks Football League Division One following a 2-2 draw with Long Wittenham Athletic.
Gary Sutton and Dan Courtney were on target for Faringdon, while Andy Sutherland clambered off the bench to score twice for Wittenham to earn a point.
The victory sees Faringdon move to four points behind Didcot Casuals in second, and five behind leaders Crowmarsh Gifford, but having played five games more.
Lambourn Sports Reserves moved joint top of Division Two following their 2-0 home win over Steventon. Richard Sayer and Craig Pearce both produced neat finishes to make sure of all three points. Lambourn are level on points with Berinsfield at the top but have played four games more than their rivals.
In Division Three, James Tranter struck a superb hat-trick as Shrivenham A demolished Wootton & Dry Sandford Reserves 7-2. Steve Leighfield and Mark Loveridge bagged a brace apiece in the win with Dan Bond and Chris Shahab scoring once for the home side who remain third bottom.
