SWINDON moved a step closer to promotion after beating Barnet 2-0 at Underhill tonight.
Paolo Di Canio made four changes to his side, with Matt Ritchie and Lee Holmes out through injury.
Town made the ideal start, though, as Ronan Murray opened the scoring in the 14th minute when he stabbed home after racing through on goal.
And Oliver Risser wrapped up the points with a 32nd minute second, firing home from Jay McEveley's free kick.
Here are the key moments from today's game:
14 mins (GOAL, Murray 0-2): Town take the lead with their first real chance of the game when Luke Rooney releases Ronan Murray and the striker coolly stabs the ball beyond Dean Brill.
22 mins: Barnet should have done better when the ball is put into the Town box and the visitors fail to clear, but Andy Yiadom somehow blazes over from six yards out.
27 mins: Swindon look dangerous going forward though and Murray fires over from an acute angle as they hunt for a second.
32 mins (GOAL, Risser 0-2): It gets even better for Town as they score a second. The Robins are awarded a free kick 30 yards from goal following a foul on De Vita and Jay McEveley swings the free kick into the box where Risser is on hand to fire home.
39 mins: Barnet show that they are not necessarily out of the game just yet as Izale McLeod shoots just wide from distance.
53 mins: As expected, Barnet come out battling after the break and substitute Ricky Holmes drills a low effort at Foderingham.
61 mins: Luke Rooney curls a free kick over the bar as Town look to snatch a third that would kill off the game.
74 mins: The home side keep pressing, though, and they have a chance through Ricky Holmes, but the winger shoots wide.
86 mins: Town go close to grabbing a third just before full time when substitute Nathan Thompson shot just wide after good work from Paul Benson and Simon Ferry.
