PAOLO Di Canio admitted he did not enjoy watching today's game against Morecambe, even though Swindon picked up another three points with a 1-0 victory at the Globe Arena.
Town were distinctly off key in the first half but took the lead barely two minutes into the second half through Paul Benson.
From then on the game opened up and both sides had chances before the full time whistle was blown.
It was a vital victory in Town's promotion push, with the Robins now 11 points clear of fourth place.
But for Di Canio the performance, particularly in the first half, was far from acceptable.
"It is an important victory which takes us closer to the target of promotion and it is another three points, but I am not happy with the performance," he said.
"They were better in the second half and the defensive line worked very hard but I didn't enjoy watching the game and we should have done better."
Town host Northampton on Monday in the first of two successive games at the County Ground.
And Di Canio plans to spend the weekend carefully considering what team he will put out against the Cobblers.
"I have a bit of time to think about things," he added.
"There is plenty of time on the coach on the way back to Swindon to assess the performance and then make decisions.
"I will watch the clips from the match today and we will speak to the players at training on Sunday."
