FOUR Town players are set to be barred from playing in today’s potentially promotion-clinching game with Gillingham.
The Adver understands Wes Foderingham, Joe Devera, Luke Rooney and Lee Cox are unlikely to play any part at Priestfield after Town boss Paolo Di Canio discovered they were involved in a late-night drinking session last Saturday.
Five players, Alan McCormack, Alan Connell, Simon Ferry, Raffa De Vita and Jay McEveley, have already apologised to Di Canio and the club’s fans for their part in the incident, but the Italian is thought to be unhappy that the remaining four players did not admit they were involved.
