SWINDON interim chairman Jeremy Wray has denied that the club has made any approach for Rotherham striker Lewis Grabban.
New Millers boss Steve Evans revealed today that three clubs, two from League One and one from League Two, have been in contact regarding the club’s 21-goal top scorer, who interested Town boss Paolo Di Canio earlier in the season.
But Wray told the Advertiser Town are not one of the interested parties.
“Grabban was one of many players spoken about and linked earlier in the season and that is it, and we have certainly not put in a bid or made a formal enquiry,” he said.
“We are not in a transfer window at the moment so we can’t put in bids anyway, and we are all focused on the job in hand which is winning the title on Saturday.”
