SOUTHBROOK will be hoping to put in a fitting performance in a cup final today in memory of the club’s founder.
Ron Sproule recently passed away having previously started up Southbrook some 20 years ago.
The club are huge underdogs in the Corsham Print Senior KO Cup showdown against AFC Bradford Town.
However, they have seen off Purton, Moredon and Amesbury en route to the last two and boss Den Carter feels an upset could be on the cards.
He said: “The lads have really pulled together for this cup run and playing for Ron in this final will mean everything for them.”
