CAMERON Baden took 3-11 as Swindon defeated Wootton Bassett by 10 runs in the Under 11 Blue Division of the Wiltshire Youth Cricket League.
Baden also weighed in with the bat, contributing 10 as Swindon reached 91-6 in their innings.
Bassett, who had won the toss, saw Akash Sharma take 2-4.
In reply Bassett lost their first two wickets for 11, both victims of Baden's pace.
Sharma scored a solid 33, before being run out by a direct hit from Painter to leave Bassett 75-6 with three overs remaining.
Tight bowling from Baden (4-0-11-3) and Painter (3-0-8-2) restricted Bassett to 81-7.
Freddie Martin hit 66 not out and opener James Harris (29 not out) was also unbeaten as Shrivenham saw off Malmesbury by 75 runs.
Shrivvy made 119-0 and Malmesbury were never in the hunt, finishing on 44-4.
Robbie Foston (2-4) and Benjamin Evans (2-5) did the damage as Goatacre lost to Biddestone by 50 runs.
David Jones hit 21 for the winners, who made 88-3, Arthur Dodson taking 2-15 as Goatacre subsided to 38 all out.
In the Red division, Corsham (82-5) beat Cannings (80-8) by two runs and Calne (55-1) chased down Chippenham's 54-6.
Wootton Bassett were in trouble at 6-5 chasing South Wilts' 272-6 when the under 15 match was abandoned.
Malmesbury, despite 23 from Daniel Bye and 28 from Theo Humphries in their 88 all out, lost by two wickets to Trowbridge (92-8).
Jame Ellison (2-7) and Sam Thomas (4-12) were the wicket takers for Malmesbury.
Nick Harrison (6-3) took a hat-trick as Chippenham beat Westbury (60 all out) by six wickets.
Purton lost to Biddestone, who notched 255-3 dec.
In reply, Purton were 192 all out with Dave Bray hitting 101.
