With Swindon having lost all but one fixture to the weather in the past fortnight, the players will be relishing the opportunity to get back into league action this weekend.
John Baden and his first XI managed to dodge the rain at Biddestone two weeks ago and record a narrow victory which has lifted them into fifth place.
A potentially difficult trip to Lydney awaits them this week.
Swindon lost this fixture last year and recorded only a narrow victory in the return at the County Ground, so Lydney have the ability to test Baden's men.
Baden makes just two changes to the side which played Biddestone. The fit-again Roger Willoughby returning in place of Dom O'Neill and Tim Barton returning in place of the holidaying Andy Compton.
Barton himself faces a race to be fit and should he not be successful left-handed batter Anthony Spencer will come into the side.
With Willoughby returning to join fellow seamers Will Nichols and Bruce Martin, Swindon potentially posses one of the most potent seam attacks in the division and they should prove to be a handful on a Lydney track that normally provides assistance to the quicker bowlers.
The table-topping 2nd XI entertain second-placed Lydney in the reverse fixture at the County Ground.
Darren Beasant's young side have performed admirably thus far and Beasant will be hoping they can push for title honours.
Several changes are made, with batsman Shabbir Mostafa included after a number of good scores in the 3rd XI.
The 3rd XI travel to play their counterparts from Corsham with Nick Parkinson back at the helm after a break in the US.
Danny Baker and Dan Booth-Howe both make their seasonal league debuts.
Shank Gorg and Steve Cole return to support seamers Kudzi Mlambo and Jason McGinley who stands by for 2nd XI duty.
Phill Laggett's fourth team travel to Devizes and with a strong side they should be looking for a big points haul.
Rich Arkely returns after injury and all rounder Dean Williamson is also available.
On Sunday Swindon travel to Malmesbury in the West of England Trophy.
Arran Dickinson will be working hard to get more application from a batting line up that was knocked over cheaply last week.
The Sunday 2nd XI entertain Hungerford at home in the Border League and are led by Alan Biggins who has a mixture of the Saturday 3rd and 4th XI's at his disposal.
