JAZZ Carlin is celebrating her second gold medal of the European Swimming Championships after winning the women’s 400m freestyle event.
The Swindon ace, 23, notched up a new personal best of 4:03.24 as she held off the challenge of the Netherlands’ Sharon Rouwendaal and Spain's Maria Belmonte-Garcia.
Carlin completed a golden double at this summer’s Commonwealth Games, becoming the first Welsh woman to win swimming gold in the competition for over 40 years, and has now followed that up by winning the same two events at the Euros.
Last Thursday, the Wales star claimed top spot in the 800m freestyle.
